Super Bowl LIX Apple Music Halftime Show with Kendrick Lamar

Lighting

Under these lights, we delivered. ✨🏈

The Apple Music Halftime Show was one for the ages, with Kendrick Lamar making history as the first solo rap headliner, joined by SZA in a performance that electrified millions. PRG Forum with Partner PRG, was proud to provide lighting support for designers Al Gurdon & Ben Green, supplying the technology and expertise that helped bring their creative vision to life.

When it comes to pulling off a spectacle of this scale, the numbers speak for themselves:

  • Nearly 60,000 feet (11+ miles) of fiber optic cable were deployed—stretching the length of 150 football fields.
  • Elation Lighting Proteus Radius fixtures powered the stunning visuals that lit up the stage.
  • Pathway Connectivity designed and tested a cutting-edge fiber integration solution using Via 12 Ethernet Switches, ensuring seamless data transmission.
  • A huge shoutout to the PRG Nashville team for their precision, expertise, and relentless effort in assembling and prepping all the gear that made this production possible!

We’re honored to have played a role in bringing another legendary halftime show to life, carrying on the legacy of powering music’s biggest stage.
